Hey y'all!
First thank you! Hans and Fras has grown more than we ever EVER thought it would in a million years. We want to thank everyone who has ordered one of our shirts, without you guys we are literally nothing. For reals. Second, we have some seriously exciting stuff coming up that we can't wait to talk about so just stay tuned. it's gonna be huge, HUGE! Third, we apologize so the delay in shipping. We have day jobs and a ton of orders but please do not fret, we will get to everyone in a timely fashion. Finally, it's been a while since new shirts, huh? Yeah, we know. We want to design new stuff now more than ever, but because we're so busy printing we haven't had the time. But don't you fret! Seriously stop fretting, we'll be unveiling some new stuff as soon as we possibly can. again thanks so much and check back with us soon cause it's about to get really big around here!

Hey kids, we gotta talk about something that's pretty important and close to our hearts: quality. We haven't been doing this shirt thing very long and we're learning as we go along. That said, we are still dedicated to providing you with a quality product. So if for any reason you feel like your shirt is sub-par or if something's wrong with it or... anything at all please please please tell us and we'll work something out. The thought that people are unsatisfied with what they receive in the mail literally keeps us up at night. The flipside of this is of course, if you love love your shirt and you wanna tell us all about it, drop a dime and drop us a line. We love compliments, and we love getting email so an emailed compliment would pretty much split our world in two. Anyway, glad we got that out of the way. You kid wanna know who we're obsessed with right now?

ESTELLE. We know you've heard the head killer American Boy featuring Kanye but we like this one by our girl cause she proves it's not the Ye touch that put her on top. Girl can hold her own and we love every second.
Speaking of Kanye though, he had a countdown of the top 25 hip hop videos ever made over the weekend and even though we didn't see all of his picks we think he missed some pretty important ones. For example:

Alright, let's talk Legion. The Legion is a way for us to give back to the people who love us. You guys are some great kids and everybody knows it. So we set up this little system. Step 1: you email us and politely request a code. Step 2: we give you a code. Usually (because we aren't all that imaginative) it'll be your first name or something interesting about your email addy. NEW SHIRTS NEW SHIRTS! All the rumors are true. We finally put up the new designs in the store, and frankly they are looking pretty good. And we can say that with complete impartiality. You might notice that we kind of went back to our roots with this series, simpler shapes, brighter colors, more fun! After all that death, it was time for us to get outside and into the light. What better weekend to do that than the unofficial start of summer? We certainly hope you check it out and we know you'll like what you see!

So, we know you were all holding your breath waiting for the new designs and then of course you suffocated because they never showed. We're sorry. Here's what happened. We were doing final revisions on Saturday when we realized, we didn't like them. They weren't ready and they needed more than one or two days work before they would be, so thats what we're gonna give em. We like them, but they're not where they need to be yet and we're not gonna put out designs that we don't stand behind just to satisfy a deadline that we set for ourselves. Sorry. But we can promise you when we release them, the new stuff will be so so cool, it'll knock your collective digital socks off. We're excited about them and we can't wait to show you what we've been doing. But all that is just talk and talk as they say is as cheap as... somthin cheap. So here is a video we have loved for a long long time. It's a commercial for another company (boo) but it's based off a film (yay) that they stole from and gave no credit to (boo). The company: FCUK. the film: J'Taime John Wayne. love it.

New shirts on the way! We're in the home stretch of the designing and the printing and the finalizing and the testing and the everything and its almost almost done! So don't sleep! New shirts premiere this weekend!! um... it's beginning to look a lot like summer don't you think? hmmm...

Also a few days ago we were featured on T-shirt Advocate and they had some very nice things to say about us which is always nice to hear. AND our friend over at iloveyourshirt talked about our new shirts a few days ago! That guy is really cool. We're just all over the place! We love being blogged, it makes us feel popular. hello and welcome to the last of MortaliTee! that's right, we're puttin a stop to all the death and violence but we're going out a high note. This isn't just a time of endings, its also a time for birth and growth. We have a new site design that we think is pretty nice if we do say so ourselves and we have new pictures up so prepare for a feast for the eyes!



ooohh, we almost forgot! we also have our very first TWO COLOR PRINT available now. it's pretty exciting for us to have a two color print because, you know... we're nerds and that kind of thing excites us.

also we're starting something really cool were calling THE LEGION. we're gonna get into that later so stay tuned, believe us you're gonna like this (it involves free shirts). we are also debuting our first logo tee. we've been debating putting our logo on anything for a while. there are both pros and cons for doing it but in the end we just don't feel comfortable doing that quite yet. so this is our compromise with ourselves. we're actually pretty happy with it. even though it's just a logo, the type works like an illustration so it works better than many we've seen. anyway, we hope you like it as much as we do.

So here you have it: your very first look at one of the last three MortaliTee designs. These were the first two prints of 'Danse Macabre" and as you can see they didn't do quite so well. But that's ok cause then we printed three more and the came out amazing. Anyway, we are very very proud of these designs. Actually they should be all ready to go by tomorrow (along with a slight website revamp we are working tirelessly to create. Between printing shirts and coding this new site our finger tips are all swollen. OK, it's not that bad, but still. Guess thats it, we'd better get back to work. We'll see you on the flipside.

ok ok ok, we tried out the new screens last night... and it's not that we think we're the most amazing thing in the world it's just that these shirts are completely everything. this whole tshirt thing, we do it cause it makes us happy and it's fun to think that we might actually be getting good at it. these designs feel more complete and more... developed than anything we've done before and thats a really good feeling. we put a lot of work into this and it's nice to love the outcome. we certainly hope you do to. updatez to come!!!

it appears to show two policemen repeatedly beating and macing a man they already have physically restrained.

We've been thinking about doing a series reflecting on global politics, international awareness, civil rights both in the US and abroad, and the shrinking world we live in for some time now. this video makes us aware once again that while our world is improving, there are still those who would like to use force and violence to enforce a status quo, one that is often unjust. While we have no idea why the events in the video took place, we believe it shows a blatant use of excessive force. The arrogance it takes to beat a man in public and think that there won't be consequences, to act as if you are actually above the law simply because you wear a uniform when it's supposed to be your job to enforce it; it's disgusting.
We hope that the two policemen in the video either have a very very sound reason for acting the way they did, or face very very serious consequences.

HANS AND FRAS HAS BEEN EXPOSED TO THE HIGHLY RADIOACTIVE AGENT OMG-2!! ok, no we haven't but we have been exposed to the world again because we've been blogged again!! twice in so many days? that's crrrrrrrazy! and also amazing. a big, huge shout out to our new friends andré and marcel from shirt(squared). they maybe rock, plus checking out their blog made us crazy jealous cause they have so much cool stuff listed there. anyway over&out!

HANS AND FRAS = 1 MONTH OLD!!! that's right today is our birthday. we have a special project planned to celebrate but unfortunately we are behind... and lazy, so it's not done yet. but don't you worry very very soon it'll be hitting the streets harder than Step Up 2.

The first shirts from our newest series MortaliTee have been added to the store. Maybe you should go over and check it out. Maybe it's the best thing to ever happen to you. Hey! so original blog, was killed... we're really sorry. Blogger wasn't havin it so they killed us off. Which got us thinking. We've been looking around and we see a lot of shirts that have to do with death. Seems like everybody's thinking about their own mortality these days. Why? Who knows. Maybe all this thinking about war and terrorism has us more conscious of the fact that someday everything ends. Well we say that's depressing, but also sort of interesting. And so we started cooking up some new shirts. In the next few days we will be posting the hot new shirts from Hans and Fras. A little morbid maybe but just as handmade and just as cool. ok, Hans and Fras out!
